This is Shoko Kanai, director of Gallery Juichigatsu in Ginza, Tokyo.
I am really glad to have this opportunity to exhibit the works of young Japanese artists at Gallery Onetwentyeight.
Recently we see the works of artists through the internet.
I often receive e-mail from all over the world who show me their works and ask me for exhibition in Japan.
However convenient such global information may be, seeing art works directly are more enjoyable and we can find something new.
Since March 11th, Japanese artists have had lots of perplexities and worries, yet they know expression through art enables to argue and show their feelings.
Please enjoy these works of high quality and originality.
